Ajax FC is the most successful club in the Eredivisie league with 33 league titles in their name. The club played a pioneer role to bring the philosophy of ‘ Total Football’ both in the club and in Netherlands. But when it comes to the European standard the club is unable to hold its position high consistently. Despite that this club gave birth to a number of legends not only of Dutch origin but also from different countries. In last 50 years this club came up in the world of Football with one of the best Youth academy .The name of their Youth academy is ‘De Toekomst’ which means future. In 2019 the Ajax Fc devastated the mighty Real Madrid with a team of youths in champions League . Major players of that team were under 22 and were able to destroy the one of the greatest and most expensive team in the World. Not only the Youth program they also had a keen eye on choosing players. Some of the non-European players also started their career in this club. In the last five decades the Ajax gifted a number of players to Football. The most prominent stars among them was Johan Kryuff. He started his career at Ajax and played for a long time before going to another European giant Barcelona. Not only as a player he served Ajax as a manager also . Beside Kryuff the academy produced a number of Dutch stars like Edwin van der Sar, Gerald Vanenburg, Frank Rijkaard, Dennis Bergkamp, Rafael van der Vaart, Patrick Kluivert, Marco van Basten, Wesley Sneijder, Maarten Stekelenburg, Nigel de Jong, Frenkie de Jong, Matthijs de Ligt and Ziyech. Currently Frenkie de Jong is playing at Barcelona, de Ligt at Juventus and Ziyech at Chealsea. All these players are regular in their teams and are becoming invincible in their respective positions.
The club also made mutual agreement with foreign clubs.The club is able to bring players from different counties even before they made their debut. Some of them are Belgium defence trio Jan Vertonghen, Toby Alderweireld and Thomas Vermaelen along with winger Tom De Mul, all of whom are full internationals. The Ajax FC clearly became a club which supply players all over the Europe. The club also bring some greatest player of this game into spotlight .The most important of them is the Uruguayan star striker Luis Suarez and the Tottenham star Christian Eriksen.
